Sitting up like a big girl!

Kendall is starting to sit up. She can sit for long periods of time before she topples over. However, she does not have the posture down yet and kind of has to hunch over, she sure is getting there. This girl won't be happy until she can walk...she is a major busy body! I'm going to enjoy the last few months of her being stationary! Grandpa taught her how to watch Mickey on the laptop...ADDICTED! This has come in major handy when making dinner or getting ready for work!

She totally cracks me up...she is so interested in this show for some reason. She would watch it for hours if I let her!

And OF COURSE...we watched the royal wedding LIVE!

She is getting so big, so fast! I am getting kind of sad! She just does something new everyday. Next up...hopefully rolling over. We are gonna do things backwards!

Easter 2011

We had an easter photo shoot in my parents front yard this weekend. Of course I am in alll of the pictures b/c K cannot sit or stand alone, but you get the idea....

Again, has to touch everything. This egg is way too big to fit in her mouth, which is where most things go.

Thinks this is funny. If we would have been doing this outside...she would have NOT been happy.

I attempted to sit her on an egg...and chunky monkey broke it open! So, we decided this would be a good photo op!

This girl is totally obsessed with her daddy. He was glad he got to spend the weekend with her and didn't have to work on the house. Good times!

Hanging out at Granny and Grandpas (our temporary home)

We just moved out of my parents house this weekend. We stayed with them about a month or so while our house was being remodeled. So, we are all done and settled into our new home...but we miss Granny and Grandpa bigtime! Kendalls eyes light up when she sees her Grandpa. It is too cute. Here are some things she did while we were there....

We did some major fishing. This is a fishing pole with a mouse attached to the end that our cats play with. She is all about knowing what is going on and being a part of it.

Reading our book. Old MacDonald...she loves to hold the book/pages herself. She is a very independent little girl. Not sure where she gets that from :)

we are OBSESSED with water! anytime she sees a bottle of ANY kind...she pants like crazy. I have a video of this and need to figure out how to post it.

she LOVES her wagon rides. Of course, we have to put the bumbo in the wagon so she can sit up ok, but she really likes to be outside.

I missed this fun outing b/c I had a soccer game, but she doesn't seem to mind :)

We will miss Magnolia but are very excited about our new home!!!

Azalea Farm

Mom, Dad and I took Kendall to this estate in their neighborhood on Saturday. The guy who owns the 200 acres goes to their church and has the most BEAUTIFUL landscaping. He has trails that run through it and you can walk about two miles. We went to see the 6500 azalea bushes he had planted but just missed them after the rain....but it was still awesome! K had fun. Here we are at the beginning of the walk:

So happy. This girl LOVES to be outside. I don't think she has ever cried on walk (unless we stop). She is gonna have one fun summer and be super tan!

He has a 20 acre lake that has tons of fish and on it is a 1200 sq ft. gazebo. This guy should rent this place out and make lots of money!

She was wondering what the heck this crocodile was. She may have tried to put it in her mouth...which is the case for most touchable objects these days.

New Obsession....Feet

We have officially moved from our hands to our feet....totally obsessed and is working SO hard to be able to shove them in her mouth. Almost K!

Spring Break 2011!

Spring Break is over :( We didn't do much of anything just kinda hung out. Here are some pics from our random activities :)

Love this!! Kendall went to her first vball tournament! All my kiddos (freshmen now) who were with me while I was pregnant with her got to meet her for the first time. This picture totally says "Mom, these whistles are LOUD"
Get used to it baby girl!!! You don't have a choice :)

We went to the zoo with some friends on Wednesday. She had not a clue what was going on but loves to people watch as well as eat her ticket she used to get in :) This will be saved in her book for sure!

St Pattys day was spent at Market street and in Magnolia. We took Kendall to lunch at Cafe Express (you can see she was super excited to be in her outfit). It was so tiring, she fell asleep mid diaper change on her changing pad...so I just moved it into the crib :) never wake a sleeping baby! Especially one who never naps!

We moved on to Magnolia that afternoon and played golf with Grandpa. Well, we rode in the cart and she LOVED it! Pretty sure she fell asleep around the 14th hole :)

Favorite thing to do is be in the Bjorn. This week when she was so fussy, this is the only thing that would make her happy. Being outside (with daddy) in the Bjorn! Whatever works :)

That is about all we did. Nothing special but lots of fun things!!!

Garrett is here!!!

Garrett Thomas Hoffart was born on Wednesday, Februrary 23rd! He weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. and is 19 inches long! Sweet boy! Emily did great and they are headed home today!! Here are some pics of this sweet boy

Hes also obsessed with his LONG fingers and hands just like his buddy Kendall! Kendall got to make a visit to see Garrett yesterday. He was not a fan of her at first and she didn't seem to mind

Garrett it soo cute and too sweet! Kendall is very excited to have new friend (woh is a boy, of course..) and put on quite a show at the hosital. She was excited to hang out with Miss Emily and talked to her for about 30 minutes non-stop. This chick has got a LOT to say lately! Garrett (and all the other boys) do know what they are in for!
