Baby Shower #1!

Today four of my most wonderful friends put on a fabulous baby shower for me and Miss Kendall. Everything was absolutely wonderful and I could not have asked for a better day! There were lots of people in attendance and opening presents was very fun and overwhelming! Kendall is one loved and will be one well dressed little girl!!!! Here is what I saw when I walked in....

Such a cute little spread! And a wonderful diaper cake that I cannot figure out how to fix the picture...just tilt your head.

Such cute onesies....love them all!!!

The best thing ever!!! A candy bar!!!!!!!!!!! I spend most of my time here and directed people this way :)

There are tons of pics of me opening presents, none of which I look to nice in :) So, just imagine lots and lots of way cute clothes and so many other wonderful things!!! Thank you all so much for such a fabulous time and all the wonderful gifts that you so generously got for Miss Kendall Rae!!!

Last but not least, a baby bump pic! You cannot go to a baby shower in our group and not take a baby bump picture. I think it is illegal :) SO fun! So, we have from left to right:
Emily (due February 21st), Erin (due November 7th) and Hayley (due November 6th). There are 3 other people at our school pregnant right now (that we know about) so it's going around :) Looking forward to meeting all these new additions :)

Happy Anniversary

Billy and I celebrated our first anniversary on Saturday. We left on Friday for a mini-vacation to San Antonio and had a great time! We went to the riverwalk on Friday night and did some people watching and shopping and then headed out to find a place to eat. The moment we saw Pat O'Briens, Billy was dead set on going there. Now, for pregnant people, this place is zero fun! They have a ton of YUMMY drinks (the hurricane) and gross food! Billy had a nice tall hurricane while I had my water and neither of us ate much of our food. There was most definitely a stop at McDonalds for a chocolate shake to fill up my tummy!!

Of course I was thrilled to see The Alamo!!!

Saturday, we headed out to Sea World. We got there early and I waited in line to get into the waterpark while Billy rode some rides. I floated the lazy river for about 3 hours...good way to beat the heat! Billy stayed with me most of the time and but managed to get a couple other water rides in. We got out because it got major crowded! We then went to one of the shows..probably a 3,000 person theatre and got there 15 minutes early. COMPLETELY FULL! Not even any standing room. We called it quits after this and headed to Rudys for some lunch.

For dinner, we headed to La Cantera. FABULOUS! We did some shopping, well I did some shopping, and then we ate at Kona Grill for dinner. Yummy sushi and seafood! We were so tired I think we fell asleep by 10:00. The sun is a killer these days!!!

It was a great weekend! Next year, we will be celebrating our anniversary with a 9 month old! CRAZY!!!

Be Patient!

I am trying very hard to figure out this blog situation. I cannot for the life of me begin to understand why it's so hard. I need to sit down with Emily to have a tutorial and maybe it will get easier. I am trying get it together before school starts and Kendall comes so that it won't be so time consuming then. I will post pics of the nursery, or what is done so far, later on this week. One obstacle at a time. Today is to put those countdown dilly bobbers up on here. Thanks for the info Leslie!
